InnovationIQ Scoring
After an in-depth assessment and analysis, your organization will receive an InnovationIQ score that reflects both your strongest capabilities and areas for development. While the score is aggregated across the organizations, InnovationIQ scores can be generated on many levels, including working teams, divisions, subsidiaries, governments, and even for large-scale geographic regions. This multi-business unit scoring mechanism will give you a glimpse into the innovation on a granular level, and a view of where to begin.
The recommendations and guidance associated with InnovationIQ certification are compliant with the upcoming ISO 5600 standards on innovation management, tools, processes and strategy. Meanwhile, the scoring methodology is constantly undergoing enhancements to include the most current, highest quality data and best practices in compliance with ISO and emerging global standards for innovation management.
5 Tiers of InnovationIQ Scores
The ranking system is based on a 100 -point scale. While a score in the upper tier is a mark of mastery, a score of at least 31 qualities an organization for certification. Along with the score, businesses received a report with tangible recommendations and a leadership and culture profile to guide them.
The five tiers of InnovationIQ scores are:
InnovationIQ 0-30: Lack of innovation capabilities, no clear strategy, leadership or culture in place for innovation.
InnovationIQ 31-50: Some innovation capabilities in place. Strategy, leadership and culture should be developed further to empower innovation.
InnovationIQ 51-70: Strong innovation capabilities in place. Strategy, leadership and culture aligned with the innovation capabilities, but there is room for major improvement.
InnovationIQ 71-90: Very strong innovation capabilities in place. Strategy, leadership and culture are aligned with the innovation capabilities, but there is room for minor improvement.
InnovationIQ 91-100: Superior innovation capabilities in place. Strategy, leadership and culture highly aligned with the innovation capabilities.
